Rise and Shine!

Well it was outside but not much shine in us, sleepy heads scrambling to get out of the door on time and all the things we needed for an overnight stay.

Whilst on route received a call from Marta to see another house, so booked to view that for Thursday at 10am.  Met Rosana and she had the Landlords Carmen and her husband Luis with her - A very nice couple, Carmen her looks, character and mannerism reminded me of our friend Marie's mother, Nicole.

But what about the house - I hear you ask - Well it ticked most of the boxes on our interim house criteria.  It was in a residential area (urbanizacion) but surrounded by fields and a short tarmace road a few minutes from La Carlota - a walkable 20minutes.  We were even taken to see where the Primary and Preschools were.  We had to keep in mind that this is an interim move for 2 possibly 3 years.  The area was very tranquil and the town itself was quite pretty and still quite, it got a little busier just after the schools finished at 2pm but then really dead quite again.

Once they had left we had another little look area the area and then went to check-in at Hotel Abetos.  It was nice to see their friendly faces again and they recognised the kids and we had a nice chat.  It was now 5.30pm so left the hotel to go round some other areas in Cordoba and any other Estate Agents that we had noticed on the way.  Which was a very useful task as there were some that looked on the map as ideal but were really not what we wanted, so we would be more specific when Agents ask about location.  We then revisited La Carlota and some of the closer villages to get a feel of the area, people and types of car they had, and the condition of the houses and gardens - this all really helps to get a feel of the area too.  8pm went back to the Hotel and had Cena (dinner) in the Restaurant, Aston was eat with his eyes half closed bless him - it had been a long day or everyone.  But not long drive home.  Abetos is only 15mins drive from the centre of Cordoba perfect, and so a reasonably night sleep will be had, ready for the next day.
