Again Paul did not have a good nights sleep, you see we have some birds nest between the air conditioning unit outside and the wall. And they were chirping and squaking away - I was fine but it really unsettled Paul's sleep.
So when he got up and the birds had flown out, he checked nothing was in the nest and blocked up the hole. In the hope for a good nights sleep.
the and I had a discussion last night on how to vary the learning, especially for Aston. Who doesn't like sitting in one room let alone one spot.
So we decided that Friday would be arts and crafts day. Music, paints/drawing, ICT, craft basically anything (within reason) that you wanted to do artywise.
Aston was painting the letters of his name, and then painting a rainbow over the top of the whole page - well at least it was a start! Corrine was painting over some wooden stencils she had and Ethan was remembering how to play the piano again (unfortunately we sold our beloved piano before we left - but had Grandma's trusty old electronic keyboard - something better than nothing).
These activities were a good idea, the kids really enjoyed their day, Ice lollies all round.
A good week for all - even Paul had a very productive week. Some family time at the weekend as a reward - and weather supposed to be good so, serious pool fun.
