Not such an early start, but the sun shining again and the forecast is back to normal 28deg C. Excellent. Everyone back in their smart clothes, although there was some disagreement from Aston.
Got to the offices, took our ticket, 20 minutes later, 5 NIE’s in our possession. The lady was now a little more happier and helpful.
Now to the Bank. Gave Diego all our documents, asked for the account to be joint. 1/2hour later one Spanish Bank Account. But they don’t use chip and pin here. You have a creditcard shaped piece of card. With numbers down the left side and letters along the top, and when you log onto the internet it asks you for a number, for example Row 3, Column B and then you type this into the computer! I would have thought that Barclays Spain would still have the same processes as Barclays UK. But obviously not. And when I put some money in the Account he used a carbonised slip and stamped it and gave me a copy!
Mission accomplished, time for a picnic in the park and then back home, to relax, kids had been getting a little weary. However, they have been patient with all the going back and forths we have had to do in the last few weeks. It is really boring for them too.
A chill out and early night for all I think. Also my feet were killing me wearing high heels for two long hot days in a row. My poor bulging calf muscles.
