Monday 13th May 2013

The temperature outside felt a little cooler.  So a spot of gardening ensues.

9.06am I was out there with my little Aston helper mowing the lawn - Paul had lowered the blades so I could get the grass spongier.  The grass grows like a vine with grass shoots along the way, but the lower you cut it gets really thick.  Also rain was due in the next couple of days and it would get into the soil easier.

There was also a Lime tree - the fruits look like limes and the blossom smells divine.  Only about 16-20ft tall, but really needed some of the top branches cut as they were starting to overhang the roof.  Not a nice tree to cut, it has thorns,  ooh not like rose thorns - these needles are upto 2 inches long.  And they hurt!

All in a hot sweaty day, lawn mowed, lime and fruit trees had hair cuts.  Even the tennis court (with the help of Ethan and Aston) had a sweep and the climbers by the pool.  My workout complete.  Who needs a gym.

Shower, dinner and bed.
